Labor Day weekend

This last weekend was Labor Day weekend. We had lots of fun. On Saturday We took Aspen to her ballet class. She is so cute, and does so great! After ballet we went home and got ready to go to the zoo. My sister and her boys came too, and the kids had a lot of fun, even though we didn't get to see nearly all the animals (it's hard to do things with two nursing babies).

Monday was my step dad's birthday, so we went to my mom's house for a birthday party. We went early and went swimming in her neighborhood pool, because that was the last day it was open. It was Luke's first time going swimming.

Engaged!!!!

Nate and I are getting married! He asked me to marry him on September 1st! We are SO SO SO excited! He picked out the most perfect ring! Here are some pictures :D

Update in pictures

So, I finally got the internet back, and can do a picture update!

I got a new nephew! He is absolutely beautiful. His name is Wyatt Matthew and was born on July 20th.

Aspen recently got her first pet. A beta fish, she named Booser.

Aspen started ballet classes. She looks so cute in her little leotard. My mom took some beautiful pictures of her and Lucas.

This last week my sister and I took our kids to the Alpine park splash pad. It was lots of fun! Aspen and Gage played in the water while Luke and Wyatt hung out in the shade in their strollers.

4th of July weekend

This weekend was the 4th of July. We had such a fun and busy weekend!

My best friend Melanee and her husband Leo had their first baby on June 30th. They had a beautiful little boy. We got to go visit them in the hospital on Thursday. They named him Leonardo London, and he is absolutely gorgeous! We are SO happy for them!

On Friday we moved my old twin size bed from my mom's house for Aspen to use. She was getting too big for her toddler bed, so we decided it was time to switch her to a really big girl bed. We have always had the dresser that matches the bed in her room, and now we finally have the bed and her room looks so cute! She still looks so tiny in such a big bed, but I think she is much more comfortable in it!

Saturday was the fourth of July and we went to the Murray parade in the morning. My mom took me and my siblings to that parade almost every year, so it was so fun to go with my kids. We met my mom, and brother there and the kids had so much fun watching the floats and getting candy.

That night we went to my Aunt Teri's house for a BBQ

Aunt Teri recently got engaged :)

Aspen had fun playing with Cameron and Alexis. It's so fun that she is getting old enough to just go off and play.

Aspen was attached to Nana's hip all night, and dragged her around everywhere talking her ear off. Every time Aspen wanted Nana to look at something, she would put her hand on her cheek and make her look.

And last but not least we did fireworks! This was the first year that I dared let Aspen do sparklers! We had alot of fun!
